Overview
The United Service Organizations (USO) has provided morale, welfare and recreational services for US military personnel and their families since the 1960s. As a senior account executive at Cramer Krasselt Public Relations, my team won the USO business and implemented strategic planning, media relations and events planning services. I worked as the lead account manager for the USO's entertainment programs.
Highlights
During that time, I developed many media relations strategies which resulted in placements with Jet Magazine, In Touch, People.com, NBC, NPR and many more. I also spearheaded multiple cross-branding opportunities including Billboard/USO Women in Music breakfast and leveraged partnerships to help recruit celebrities for tours and events.
