"It was just one of those things..."

Created in the winter of 2021, my Junior year, this piece was created with alternating oil and acrylic paint. This is by-far my most popular piece among those who are familiar with my art, because of, I assume, its very conventional nature.

This was done as a submission for an art assignment where I had to create a portrait and demonstrate color-matching abilities. For this purpose, the colors of the original frame were changed. For those who are unfamiliar with this actress, this is a frame from the movie The Shining, a film from which I have derived a lot aesthetic inspiration. 

The hand took me several workshops, it is by far the element I am most proud of.
