Hello everyone! 

This is My masters project. I made a book recording the history of skateboarding in Aveiro. 

Aveiro is a medium size portuguese city between Oporto and Coimbra. It's where I grew up and found skateboarding to be my biggest obsession to such points that as a kid it would be how i spent every single second of my free time. Either doing it or watching it. When watching it i would often do it through the means of skateboarding magazines which grew in me the love for photography aspect of it.

I started the process by asking the community for any images they could find around their archives and looked for mines. After I gathered everything, settled for the dimensions represented in the images below, doing the cover of the book in wood and skateboarding griptape. The binding of the book was done with skateboarding hardware to give it it's final touch. As you go through each page in the book you can find various comments in portuguese, all made by me to help situating and illustrating the moments.
