Chemistry Molecule Project

"Chemistry Molecule Project"
Created in the Fall of 2021, my Junior year, this work was created with pencil and watercolor. This was made for a chemistry project for which students would have to design 2 panels detailing facts about 2 elements, and a third panel about the compound formed from the elements.
I really went buck-wild with this assignment. There's far too many little details to mention them all, and the scans are not the best so not everything is visible. To point out just a few things: for the elements, I put the element's discoverer and for the Dioxin panel, I put Yushchenko, a Vietnamese mother and a Vietnam-war vet. The center of each panel includes the element symbol, electron levels, and some other info, while Dioxin's has the base formula and molecular structure of the molecule. Each panel has something uniquely associated with their element; I particularly like the work I did with Hydrogen's Hindenburg, Carbon's dinosaur fossil, and Dioxin's gaseous orange background.
