3D Projection Mapping Film - Digital Alice｜立体投影短片
Digital Alice is a short video, which tells one about three separated dreams of Alice with a piano
that wreathes her in world of illusions. This is achieved through a modern unconventional
film-making technique - projection mapping.
During the invention of Digital Alice, the main objects of the filming process were a piano, a dress
and a frame, all used with distinctive effects - horror movie effect, and surreal fantasy effect.
All the visuals were generated by rendering in After Effects and Blender, which was inspired by a wide range of literature work and movies. In the end, all the footages were added together through iMovie to present one idea -‘All that we see or seem is but a dream within a dream’ (Allan Poe, 1849).
