Part of the breif:
"Using one of the bands playing the ‘Big Day Out’ festival as inspiration, (see attached list of featured bands), create a postcard that visually represents the ‘look and feel’ of the band and the anticipated mood of the festival (fun, sun and music).
You can use manipulated photos / vector drawings / typography or a combination of these elements to create a dynamic visual piece. The postcard will be distributed by Avant Card, a free postcard distributer, and will sit in their typical nine-card rack amongst other offer/brand postcards.
The Impress logo must also be prominent.
With this in mind the client wants to use an embellishment on the card. They are not particular about what type of embellishment. Because of the extra embellishment cost, Inpress would prefer to save money on the printing. They only want to use two (2) spot colours on the front and black only on the back of the postcard."
