I started The Skulls Society brand in 2016, inspired by my love for goth music and style. As a fan of Ghost, a Swedish rock band known for their occult and satanic themes, I wanted to create a brand dedicated to people who shared my passion for the darker side of fashion.

The Skulls Society is heavily influenced by freemason and secret society insignia, as well as satanism, pagan rituals, and ghost summoning. I was drawn to the mystery and exclusivity of these themes, and I wanted to incorporate them into my brand.

As I developed The Skulls Society, I focused on creating high-quality products that reflected my love for gothic and occult themes. From t-shirts and hoodies to accessories and home decor, I wanted to offer a wide range of products that appeal to goth music and style fans.

Over the years, The Skulls Society has become a successful brand with a dedicated following. I am proud to have created a place where people can express their love for the darker side of fashion and music, and I am excited to see what the future holds for The Skulls Society.
Foolishness of Mortals
Hotel California
I loved that ridiculous rumor that started circling in the 80s about the song Hotel California being a song about satanism.

For those who missed this lovely story, here is the short version.
Hotel California is a hit album and song produced in 1976 by the Eagles rock band.
Apparently, on the inside of the album cover, Anton LaVey (founder of the Church of Satan in 1966) is seen peering down from the balcony.

The Eagles' manager, Larry Salter, admitted in the Waco Tribune-Herald (Feb. 28, 1982) that the Eagles were involved with the Church of Satan! This is how this rumor started.
The basic premise is that the song is about a Christian church that was abandoned (or otherwise vacated) in 1969 and was taken over by an occult group. For some unknown reason, it became known as the “Hotel of California.”

One story goes even further; it has been said that the song was about Aleister Crowley’s mansion near Loch Ness and the weird goings-on that supposedly happened there, including such “clues” as the line “…they stab it with their steely knives, but they just can’t kill The Beast” (Crowley’s nickname).

Gluteny
Gluteny stands for the condition of being able to stop eating copious amounts of glutenous snacks and food.
Since when did large chunks of populations used to eating bread, pasta, and other wheat products suddenly suffer from gluten sensitivity?
Is it more accurate to call the movement the gluten-free fad or the gluten-free craze?

Several studies are suggesting people who think they are gluten sensitive are not and that wheat is not to blame for the rise of celiac disease.
Archgoat Summoning
When we were kids, we used to summon ghosts with a ritual we learned from our older friends.

First, you stand barefoot on the dirt floor of an old basement in complete darkness. The only light allowed must come from a lit candle. In one hand, you hold an item that belonged to someone who died, and in the other, you hold a book of folklore songs. Then, you read out loud a song about creatures called ‘matsuro,’ which are unbaptized children who’ve died and rise from the grave to join other dead children. They clap and roam by night, and you can recognize them in the dark because they have a small flame above their heads.

After performing that ritual, I have never been so scared in my life.
