I drew sketches based on photo references from Azat Nurgaleev as well as photo of movie scenes.
In these sketches I set myself two goals.
The first is not to blindly copy the photo reference, but to interpret it in my own way, at thesame time maintaining the recognizability of the character.
The second is to draw it with mixed media: gouache, colored pencils, pastels.
I enjoyed the process, trying not to think about final result.
