KINTARO and SPOTTED GAR

KINTARO(Sakata no Kintoki)
Kintaro is the childhood name of Sakata no Kintoki.
It is also called KAIDHOMARO(怪童丸).

He has a legend of having vanquished a large carp. He was also a key member of the legend of the extermination of demons by Minamoto no Yorimitsu.
SPOTTED GAR
This fish, native to North America, has become naturalized in Japanese rivers. By the way, I also keep these fish as pets.
They are actually very mild-mannered and cute.
In fact, there is a standard outfit for illustrations featuring Kintaro (not this one). But that is a bit of an uneasy design in today's commercial ethics. So I dressed him up a little more.
Thank you watching!
