"I Woke Up Like This"

 

A personal series and satire of those girls who claim they woke up, 'just like that.'  Perfect rolling curls, smooth bouffant, untouched makeup and skin more flawless than a newborn's skin.  While you sit across from her, cradling your cup of coffee under your square frames and wild hair that looks more like a bird's nest than a messy bun.  One can dream, or one can touch down to reality.  As a victim of both, there is no judgement here--to each her own.

 

Inspired by the boyfriend look, colorful patterns at my favorite Parisian fabric store and [my personal] Queen of flawless, Brigitte Bardot.
