FACE CERAMICS - ORGANIC FORM AND FUNCTION
I've always been fascinated with the connections between human beings and the tools we make. Pottery as a form of art was developed to work in conjunction with us and our needs; In that sense, pottery by it's very nature is a literal extension of ourselves. A bottle is just as much a container designed to deliver us water as our mouth and esophagus, the only difference is the nature of it's creation. I wanted to portray the interaction between human physiology and human design in a humorous way.
