Everything we create, we do for emotion. Lights of sudden joy in the eyes, enjoying the moment, diving into memories and returning to yourself.
Quality design has depth. It is born out of love for a place, culture and people who keep traditions. There is no fuss, excess or contrivance in it. Each detail has its own place and tells its own story.
The story of Emily Resort is about locality. We borrowed a term from winemaking and called this approach Terroir Design. The interior is inextricably linked with the terrain, nature and cultural layers of the region. In another place, it simply could not exist. It would be a different interior.
We made this video to show the depth of the project.
