A sensitive reworking of an original design keeps the identity of a long-established gallery forward facing


For the Grosvenor Gallery, CHK focused on a simple design which has flexibility for light reinvention while staying true to the strong brand identity. 

CHK used Akzidenz Grotesk which was popular in the 50s and 60s and is the font in which the original logo is designed for catalogue texts and exhibition publications. 

This forms a neutral but bold backdrop against which to display the modernist and traditional artwork in which bright colours play a significant role.
