A simple walk can become quite a tiresome experience if you are a young mom of an exessively active toddler, having a walk on a very cold day in a very light coat...
A simple walk is never really simple... At least, nobody is getting bored!
Luka and his mom go for a walk. A VERY long walk. Too long, if you'd ask his mom, who is gradually freezing in her feather-like and not-very-warm coat.
While mom is dreaming of a hot cup of tea and a bath, Luka is reluctant to end the walk yet. But neither of them anticipates what's going to happen on their way back...

Illustrations for this book were displayed at the exibition that took place during the International festival of children's book illustration and design. They were featured in the catalogue and received positive press reviews.
Live drawing session (photo above) and master-class on drawing characters from the book took place during the Festival.
Promo & merchandise
Illustrations for "Luka, it's time to go home!" became part of the special edition of calendars, released by "Gorodets" publishing house and featuring other illustrations from the author as well.

About the author
Helen Hrabrov is an award-winning artist, author and illustrator of children's books. At the age of 15 she wrote and illustrated her first book - "The Book of Flowers. Baby-Dandelion", which got published several years later and immediately became a bestseller. Helen's second picture book - "Verlaine" - brought its 18-year-old author wide recognition and positive press reviews. For this book Helen was awarded at the International Competition of Children's Book Illustration in 2022.
