This small documentary is on my beloved children (my fur babies if you will) and greatest companions, Rosie and Chico. Rosie is a sassy, outgoing, goofy calico with cerebral hypoplasia who adores anything that crinkles and of course her wet food, her all time favorite treat. Chico is a quiet, sweet, cuddly persian who loves to nap and occasionally bat around a toy spring or roll in some cat nip. This series capture's their very simple day to day lives except this time with an exciting twist: a recent move to a new apartment has left the two curious, and wonderous. They are quickly finding new cozy spots to settle in and fun new places to wreak havoc and loving the space they have to run, jump and play. I decided to photograph this series with my cats late one night after having realized I have never done a project where the center of attention and sole focus was two of the most important beings in my life. They are absolute joys to have around daily and they have taught me and continue to teach me so much about being a kind, responsible, caring, considerate, loving individual and remind me to always think of others and to always pay attention to the little things and moments in life because those tend to be the most special. I could no ask for better roommates than this purr-fect pair and I can't wait to have many more adventures together in the future.
