9/11 Tribute Center Website Redesign and Process

In March of 2013, I started a project wherein I led a team of 12 staff members (including the CEO and management) to completely redesign the company’s primary website to improve user experience for all devices.

From March into October, on a weekly basis, I lead workshops on best practices for rewriting and redesigning the website. Through these workshops, I helped the staff come together and define the goals of the organization and how to present them to the public with clarity, within their departments and as a company. I assisted the departments in the support of each other's functions and the illumination of their common goals.

This redesign was created and built in WordPress by an amazing Pittsburgh-based firm, Bearded (bearded.com). All content was written, edited and reviewed by myself and my manager. I edited all images.

The site went live in March of 2014. It is a responsive site ready for all screen types. See it in action.
