Marathon Talk - Host Illustrations
Following on from our successful “Legends Week” work with Abbott World Marathon Majors (AWMM), we were approached by the company again to provide illustration services for their newest project.
AWMM were due to launch a new project, entitled “Marathon Talk”, hosted by two of the biggest names in the industry, Martin Yelling and Deena Kastor and they wanted us to illustrate the hosts. These illustrations were then used across a number of assets including the podcast artwork, the iTunes Store, the Marathon Talk website and their Facebook page.
We built the illustrations in Adobe Illustrator as vector files, enabling us to scale the images up or down without losing any quality. Each portrait was drawn and coloured digitally and supplied as individual PNG files (with a transparent background) enabling the client to place them over a background of their choice and use them in a variety of different sized graphics.
