A project to announce Il Mostro dei Mari (The Sea Beast), the animated film for Netflix Kids & Family about sea creatures fighting sea beasts hunters, directed by Chris Williams (Big Hero 6, Moana). We brought the "sea beast"
into the fountain of Piazza Gae Aulenti, in Milan, recreating the film key art IRL.
The huge inflatable monsters gave us the perfect frame to create some original contents: a vox populi with Italian TikToker and YouTuber TuzzoTuzzo, who went around for an entire day asking strangers if they were ready to become part of his sea beasts hunters crew, and a series of Instagram contents in which kids influencers and talents took a stand, declaring to which team they belong to: Sea Monsters Team or Sea Beasts Hunters Team.
To generate some buzz around the title on Netflix Futures YouTube channel (the one dedicated to kids),
we interviewed the film protagonists italian dubbers in “Becoming a Pirate”: Diego Abatantuono and Claudio Santamaria slightly turned into pirate-hunters while answering two kids talents questions.
We even interviewed the dubber and dancer Giulia Stabile in an “Unstable interview”
(Intervista In-Stabile): she had to answer our questions while dancing to the movie pirate song.
