The project involves maintaining an existing concrete structure and giving proposals for new structure to create a set of Planning DWGs, General Arrangement DWGs, Fire DWGs and Details for a 4 Star hotel retrofit.
Taking a set of Engineering DWGs (CAD format) I accurately modelled all aspects of the existing structure, Foundations, Floor slabs w/ Ribs, Unique columns, downstand edge beams etc.
Energy analysis was carried out with Autodesk's Vasari Program. This meant solar panel locations, glazing areas, exterior terraces and areas affected by wind and shading could be identified and tackled.
