ONCE UPON A TIME...
I totally agree with William Cullen Bryant when he said: "Autumn…the year’s last, loveliest smile"

Note:
The gear I use in this type of photography is:
Canon EOS 80D
Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro Lens
Manfrotto Befree Advances GT XPRO tripod
(I always use tripod for macro photography)

LITTLE VALLEY
You may see a little valley here, but the reality is that I found these tiny mushrooms surrounded by moss in my garden, and near them I let a stream of water run with the hose, and it gave this autumn valley effect.
FRAGILE DREAM

COEXISTENCE
Here I show you two Mycena rosea -sorry but that is their common name-, living together with horsehair mushrooms and some winged being, the one that is not lacking. I hope you like it.
WELCOME TO MY HOME
While I was trying to photograph some dry leaves, this jumping spider came to me to investigate what I was doing in her vast territory :)
THE MIDAS TOUCH
Could it be true that everything he touched turned to gold? I think so, and that autumn trapped his soul, and we can feel it throughout this season :)
CUPCAKE FUNGUS
For many years now, in autumn and winter, I see these "eggs" in my backyard. I wondered what kind of insect would leave its eggs so close together, protected and so beautifully. Recently I saw in Pinterest some pictures of a fungus that is one of the oldest on the planet and that is on the way to extinction and do you know what fungus they were talking about?: my organized insect eggs!!! Oh my! As soon as I saw those pictures, I went out to the yard to look for them and they were there, as always in this season!
They are called "cupcake fungus" or "bird's nest" or "nido de pájaro" (even the name is lovely, don't you think?)
ONCE UPON A TIME...
... a magical forest where the fairies played. Well, in reality it's not a magical forest what I share with you today, it's just my backyard, but I like to think that there are fairies and elves :)
MI AMIGO PANCHO
When I found this pudgy gentleman through the forest, I thought it would be very easy to portray him. I imagined him peering through a branch with those large antennas looked like the horns of a reindeer, and standing still while shooting a thousand times. I had forgotten that the beetles are tireless beings. They don't stop moving at all!. And of course, our chubby, potbellied knight had this behave.
For me it was an odyssey to be able to take this image, apparently on his speedy route he found a victim and stopped a few moments while eating. I didn't have much time to think what would be the best angle of the photo, but this was the result of a fleeting instant of stillness.

HOME... FAMILY
These are the Trametes or Turkey Tail. They are extremely common mushrooms and I guess they are globally distributed. The surface of the cap shows the typical concentric zones of different colors and the margin is always the lightest. Why I did not photograph the most attractive part of these beings as any reasonable person would have done? because the background of the photo would be the darkness of the ground, and I decided to sacrifice the colorfulness of these mushrooms for the morning light reflecting in the forest. I hope you like my choice :)
NEW BORN
Macrolepiota procera, known as the Parasol mushroom, is one of the most delicious edible mushrooms, although I haven't dared to eat it yet. This autumn dressed the paths of my forest with this kind of mushrooms, at least for the photographers it is a delight and for the wild boars too :)
LIGHT TRACES
Although it seems that the snails advance slowly, photography has taught me that they are like the sunlight, they are in one place for small moments and I must hurry to shoot.
