This is a typeface created for advanced typography class. The assignment was to take an element and design a typeface that would compliment the qualities displayed by said element. I chose to do Chlorine and chose to focus on the universal killing power of the gas. This lead me to create a typeface that is sharp in-your-face and extreamly uncomfortable just like the element.
This is the process book for a typeface developed in andvanced typography. The concept was to design a typeface based on a single element. My choice was to develop a type based on the harsh “universal killer” chlorine. It was designed to mimmic the sharpness and the heaviness of the chlorine gas.
