This piece was awarded first place for the Colombian Opera House in 2014. The challenge was to design a poster to advertise Giacomo Puccini’sTurandot Opera. I used the Turandot’s dagger, given that it is the one object that symbolizes the death for love in the opera’s story. I also alluded to the “T” using the dagger’s crossbar.
