For this project I took inspiration from the stimuli ‘The Same but Different’.
My brief was to design and create a book of unique fantasy characters, giving them a modern twist to make them more interesting than more traditional ones.
I want it to have a sleek finish and combine multiple aspects and genres.
My faries were inspired by the fantasy genre, and the styles of Steam Punk and Stan Lee.
There are 10 fairies in all, a pair to represent each of the elements and then a pair of 'Royal' fairies. Each fairy's colour and chest symbol represents the element that they stand for.
