multi-layered linocut
Steven Spielberg's 1971 "Duel" is one of my favorite titles of so called car-movies genre, set on American desert roads. This movie combines action and thriller in an amazing way. I thought it would be fun to try to combine my love to old comic book illustrations, movies from the past and traditional graphic technique - in one piece. If EC Comics in the mid 50's would had the title "Tales from the hellroad" and "Duel" would be a comic book short story inside - that would be my cover art.
