"Vienradzis" (Unicorn in English) is a support material for the visual art subject. It is easy to use, it stimulates creative inspiration, promotes the learning process, which can be easily used both in face-to-face classes and remotely. The material is intended both within the curriculum in primary schools and individually for the development of a child’s creative skills at home. Organization of a pilot project "Mākslas tilti Madonā" (Art Bridges in Madona): professional competence development program "Visual arts as a tool for communication and interaction" for social workers, caregivers, and creative workshops for senior citizens from nursing homes and foster children in the Madona region in Latvia. “Vienradzis” is developed based on three core principles:
Smart – the method enables development of creative skills and critical thinking of learners through the interdisciplinary approach.
Simple – it is based on the age-driven perception and motivation aspects to engage the learner in practical activities.
Independence – the instruction is simple and pursues independent activity of the learner.
