This ensemble was designed and constructed by me and was done for a competition called Khadi Khouture held at karnataka fashion week 2014 by Prasad Bidapa.
It was held in order to position khadi cotton and silk as the true fabrics of luxury. As each piece of khadi is distinctive, one of a kind and which is hand made and can never be replicated.
Hence khadi represents the future of fashion and aims at making it a global sensation.
