Permafrost has completed a 400m2 brand experience center for Chinese EV brand Voyah in downtown Oslo. Based on the concept of exploration, the floor plan is laid out as topographic contours on a map, creating a stylized, synthetic landscape.
Visitors climb the ascending terrain, with different experiences on each level.
The experience center is part of an overall brand strategy created by Norwegian agency ANTI Hamar. Voyah is a premium brand with premium cars, and as such the space is designed to reflect values like calmness, elegance and subtle sophistication.
The 6 meter diameter light sculpture is developed by multidisciplinary art studio Void.
Featuring 3165 individual LEDs between curved, translucent curtains, a live animation that mimic the magical play of the northern lights is created.
