LAMDC 50th Anniversary Lobby Redesign

LAMDC 50th Anniversary Lobby Redesign
To commemorate five decades serving Southern California's interior design community, L.A. Mart Design Center celebrated the milestone with a spectacular 6,000 square-foot Main Lobby renovation. Realized by Christopher Gaona ASID, of Christopher Gaona Inc. Interiors, the re-imagined lobby aesthethic serves as a dramatic yet tailored entree to the Design Center that waits beyond. The harmonious design concept creates an inviting, user-friendly space to gather with clients, access information, source ideas and function more effectively for Market season ... all within a comfortable and chic urban environment. The new design, while respecting the facility's functional needs, allows the building's mid-century, post-industrial architecture to guide the concept, with a strong emphasis on symmetry, clarity of purpose, verticality and a purity of line that is respectful of the environment. The selection and customization of furnishings featured throughout articulate both a sophisticated palette and the available  range of LAMDC's superior residential products. A refreshingly elegant foyer, LAMDC's lobby is a showcase of design inspiration to engage the discriminating tastes of the West Coast design professional and their most discerning clients.
