STREIT Design Thesis project. We designed a sistem for waiting rooms in Argentinian hospitals (private mainly). The sistem has different products in it: furniture, decorative panels and a physical device. The furniture is modular, the tables and the chairs can be grouped and arranged in different ways to adapt to different layouts. The panels are deigned to reduce sound and to give privacy when the doctor has to give news to the patient´s relatives. Lastly, the device was designed because we found that one of the main problems in the waiting room experience is the lack of information and the sens of being lost for our users (patient´s relatives, friends or care givers). The device gives lots of information about the patient´s status.
