The Child Foundation earned a perfect 100%, earning them a perfect four stars. The score takes into account several beacon scores, the most important of which are Accountability & Finance (85%), Leadership & Adaptability (10%), and Culture & Community (5%) for the final tally. Some issues persist, however, including the fact that the Child Foundation's accountability and financial data are quite out of date.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation is a charity that helps sick kids get their wishes fulfilled. Grants are available for children with terminal illnesses between the ages of two and eighteen. For a modest contribution, you can grant their wish with a unique gift. The organization serves 17 counties in western New York.

In Washington, DC, there is a non-profit called the Children's Defense Fund that does research and advocacy on behalf of kids. It was established in 1973 by Marian Wright Edelman. Its primary goal is to protect and advance the rights of children across their lifespan, from infancy to young adulthood.
