St. Nicholas Gallery is an exhibition space located in Malinska, island of Krk. We designed its identity together with the identity guidelines and developed a characteristic layout for its catalogues and invitations.
The logotype is based on the number three, which is historically and in many visual iterations one of St. Nicholas’ symbols.
The three dots, in their specific disposition, are juxtaposed with the name of the gallery to build a strong contemporary logotype and a basis for a recognisable visual language on the promotional materials.
While the fronts of the materials have a static layout, for the inside we developed a flexible grid which allowed us to interpret the content of each exhibition in a fresh way.
To achieve depth, tactility and archival quality, the poster is beautifully printed in 3 colours on the Rives Dot Bright White 250 g/m2, a thick uncoated textured paper.
Client: Municipality of Malinska-Dubašnica Tourist Board; Concept & design: Mario Depicolzuane & Sabina Barbiš; 2012–2013
