Refracted Orbits

Dispersion is the separation of light into its different colors, due to the different wavelengths of light being bent differently as they pass through a medium. When light travels through glass or when objects are observed from behind the glass, it can be dispersed into its different colors, creating a rainbow-like effect.

Refracted Orbits is a personal exploration into the refractive and dispersive properties of the glass material and how it distorts the surrounding objects. Together, refraction and dispersion are responsible for many of the interesting and beautiful effects observed in the film. Sound design created by the amazing Soundery.
