Project: 3 Trips

3 Trips is about visually cataloging three trips that I would take.
[1] hometown to RISD: Dubai to RISD
[2] dorm to RISD Design center
[3] dorm to place of choice within the USA: dorm to Burning Man Black Rock City Nevada
I've catologed this trip in 3 ways. On top I've created a visual map of the journey which is annotated with small facts that would give the viewer a good sense of just how long a trip like this would take and what it would cost. I've done this by showing things like how many movies I could watch within a certain amount of time or how many babies would be born in that amount of time. Secondly, I've cataloged my energy levels, how interactive I would be and how comfortable I would be throughout my travels. Lastly, I've shown created icons that are proportional to the length of the duration of that time. These show my modes of transport and what would be occuring within those times that i am not traveling.
