In my opinion, Hangul is something very special among all the different foreign scripts of the world. But why is Hangul so special? Quite simple! Hangul is the only script of which both the creator and as well the date of publication are known. Every other scripture has been developed over thousands of years. However, Hangul emerged as a solution to a problem. An old king of Korea wanted to give the often illiterate population the chance to learn to read and write. For this reason, it is also quite easy to learn Hangul. to learn.
