This Regional Economic Scorecard, published annually, gauges the three-county region’s economic progress compared to six similar metro areas and two leading economies. We took an academic report that is over 100 pages and boiled that down to a 16 page publication that can be easily read. Through interesting infographics and brief, informative summaries, we conveyed the most important points to the reader. Economic Development agencies from around the country have come to Charleston to find out just how this document was created. It has been emulated by many others.
