My concept for Impact Lab 3. A shaded and fully solar powered transport hub, allowing students to wait in a safe area for on demand transport services. This design encourages use of public transport by reducing factors such as inconvenience, safety concerns and time/transfers per journey. This in turn will help QUT reach its goals of 5% more public transport use and 10% less single occupancy car trips, as well as additional goals which I have set within the scope of my design.
