I know this is pretty different from the things I've done up until now, which are science related. However, this is for an assignment of illustrating an article. The article belongs to the Smithsonian magazine found at this link

I've changed the title to be a little shorter for illustrating purpose. 

The idea is to learn another language when you're seeing your hometown-related elements is very tough. I've experienced it first hand in the U.S., too, even though it wasn't that bad since the town I stayed didn't have a lot of Vietnameses around.
