Design Narrative

Creating an Augmented Reality App for the paint company BEHR to enhance the interior designing experience. The app is entitled Polar Pigments. The app enables users to explore color options, utilize the AR feature with the distinct technology, and the ability to customize paint. The wireframes depict a user journey for each function of the app. The AR technology depicted is AR eye contact lenses. The inspiration behind this project is a love of hardware and construction by Eddie Webber. Painting his room was always a joy and with the Metaverse taking course and virtual aid to interior design would be obtainable in purchasing the tools required. This app will grant the user with immediate results and a straightforward approach that leaves out pandemonium and stress in finding the right paint color.

User Profiles for Color Smart.
Open the app select Explore Colors. A popup appears, tap side of the screen. Swatches in a red shade from pure to shaded. Pick a color.
Once a pigment is selected name of color is shown with number. Two tabs are below, click on Coordinate tab. Coordinated palette for Candy Drop appears. Tap back button and click on Preview Color. A list of room types will appear. At the bottom is an option to buy the color.
Press back button to homepage. Tap AR Interior Design. AR technology icons appear. Press the eye icon for the contact lenses. Then click link. Lenses sync and are operational. Use mobile phone as a touch pad for the lenses. Scan the living room. Select Candy Drop color and Virgilia wood for floors.
