Kate Spade's, 'all occasion card set'
The Kate Spade - all occasion card set is a packaging design project I chose to work on as a school project. For this project, I researched Kate Spade, her style, and what her company is doing.
About Kate Spade's Style:
Her style is big on florals, bright colors, animal prints, and has spades within her designs.
She is a feminist and believed in empowering women. Since her suicide, in 2018, her company commits itself to not only empowering women but also providing mental health support.
My Project Idea:
Combine existing ‘all occasion cards' with a campaign to help raise money for their commitment to women's empowerment and mental health.

Other Designs
The first design shown below is not part of the campaign. This design was inspired by a print on a dress she had on her website. I decided to make the leaves large and like spades since it is also something she has on many of her pieces. I added flowers here and there to brighten it up and gold trim to make it look high-end. I also added the gold spades at the top, which is like her signature.
