We were hired to renovate and rebrand the Chotana Mall.  We chose the name, North Gate Park, because of its position near the landmark North Gate of the city.  For the logo, we wanted something modern, but also something that the city can relate to.  In the end I designed a modern and bright version of the North Gate and the focus groups really loved it. 

There were many changes to the overall flow of the mall, but the main cosmetic changes were to the facades of the Mercure Hotel and Tops Supermarket.  We designed a more modern fountain with vertical gardens for the Mercure Hotel which complemented their brand really well.  We also put a pavillion on the side to add public areas.  For Tops, we came up with a clean, simple but modern look while creating windows and exposing the corner to create a more open feeling as well as additional outdoor public space. With our renovations we were able to improve the look and flow of the mall, all while adding additional revenue and shopping areas.
