Bicycle stops on Szentendrei-island

Ferries located along the Szentendre Island make up five of the few Danube crossings in Hungary that are still in operation today. Along the entire length of Szentendrei Island, it can be observed that an entire infrastructure designed for tourists has been built to the right of the Danube, while the island usually only has the port of the river waiting for us. This desolation is not conducive to road traffic, but it is precisely because of this that the island's calm and close-to-nature atmosphere is due.
Taking advantage of this atmosphere, the plan develops cycling on the island. The aim is primarily to boost traffic and support cycling. The fact that to get to the planned bicycle storage facility, you have to cross a plane to the island, and after a pleasant bicycle trip, you have to come back. In our plan, we envisioned a complex bicycle station for the bus stops, the main feature of which is that we can rent exciting bicycles, which we can use to tour the island and leave them at any bus stop. Each stop is multifunctional. We can find drinking water, self-service bicycle service, rest areas, a variety of exciting bicycles, or even vending machines with local specialties. In terms of the material of the building itself, it is made of matt sheet metal roofing, the supporting structure of which is a steel support that describes the contour of the form. We can hide under the exciting surfaces from the rain or the hot sun, we can sit and admire the beautiful landscape in front of us, we can enjoy the murmur of the Danube and the sounds of nature far from the noise of the city.
