Ferdy Sambo's Inaugural Trial, The Voice of The Victim

Ferdy Sambo's Inaugural Trial Civil Society Coalition Warns To Put The Voices of The Victims Families First.
The suspect in the premeditated murder case of Brigadier J, Ferdy Sambo, is scheduled to undergo his first trial, Monday (17/10). The trial will take place at the South Jakarta District Court.
The Civil Society Coalition for Security Sector Reform said the court process needed to be closely monitored by a number of related parties such as the Judicial Commission, including judges, to focus on premeditated murder cases accompanied by "obstruction of justice" or efforts to obstruct investigations.

This murder involved several or a number of members of the police with their respective powers to cover up crimes or criminal acts committed by their top brass on certain pretexts, said coalition member Rivanlee Anandar. Meanwhile, according to the prosecutor's office, the trial will be broadcast by streaming to use closed security for prosecutors. The public and the media as well as all parties can monitor and oversee this case until the end, hopefully it is in accordance with the community's sense of justice.
