This project was born from the Basic Design course at my University.
My goal was to design a pattern using shapes and colours inspired by the 50s: I chose a simple and common shape, the female shoe, which recalls the elegance of the stars of the most popular films of the period.
For this reason, as the first track I chose the soundtrack of the movie musical Les Girls by George Cukor.
The second choice involves a musical piece written by Carl Perkins and then reprized by Elvis Presley, because the title refers to the object of my patterns: Blue Suede Shoes.
