Brand is an important construct for communicating a set of values shared amongst an entire family of products. As industrial designers, branding extends beyond 2D collateral (logos, imagery) into the world of 3D as Visual Brand Language.
I was tasked with designing two different types of products-- a "hard good" (handgun) and a "soft good" (stroller)-- using an identified VBL (Louis Vuitton).
Louis Vuitton was chosen as a brand with a strong and consistent VBL. This includes texture, color, finish, materials, etc. that is used to define the brand.
