I wanted to create a pattern that reminded of 70's.
After a brief brainstorming I noticed the large use of geometrical figures so I decided to repeat a rounded square throughout the whole pattern to create a regular but dynamic pattern.

Here is my pattern and black and white variant, inspired by optical art, and another chromatic variant more traditional.
I also tried to make an experiment of bending, since the shape and the repetition of my pattern seemed appropriate, starting from a more traditional 70's color palette going through more modern chromatic variants.
I made also a more modern variant, that involves more cold contrasting colors for a metallic effect
The last, but not the least: two animated gifs with optical and disturbing colors, one follows the banding experiment done before, and a possible application of this pattern.
