Ayan na Naman si Ate! is a children's book that I wrote and illustrated for our Picturebook Illustration class.
This is a 16-page book that takes a dive on the inner psyche of a young boy about his playful yet, occasionally pesky sister who bothers him every now and then to do tasks.
This story is based on experiences of Filipino children left by Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) parents for the sake of sustaining their lives. This also takes an insight on the roles of the eldest daughter in a Filipino household and expound how this affects their lives.
