Ponti Design Studio is a product and industrial design firm based in Hong Kong. Founded in 2012 by Italian designer Andrea Ponti and Japanese designer Shiori Kuroiwa, the firm designs high-end technology products for numerous international brands, small and medium-sized companies and startups in Asia, North America and Europe. The studio has received prestigious international design awards such as the iF Design Award, the Red Dot Design Award and the Good Design Award.
Ponti Design Studio has a universal approach to design, spanning across cultures and practices. Our broad product range includes transport and urban mobility, robotics and medical equipment, electronics, audio and wearables, travel accessories, furniture and household items. We also offer a variety of complementary services, such as Product Research, Branding, UI/UX and Packaging Design.
The studio is located in the vibrant and informal area of Sheung Wan, close to the Central financial district, and counts with an extensive network of partnerships across Asia. Hong Kong is a key player in the Greater Bay Area, a highly industrialized, densely populated area in Southern China with 70 million people, nine cities and two special administrative regions (Hong Kong and Macao). This strategic location allows us to oversee the entire product development process from concept design to mechanical and electrical engineering, prototyping and mass production.
