I did this project for a lawyer-turned-law-career-counselor,an industrious sole proprietor whose branding needed to measure up to herexpertise. Though notions of career coaches connote savviness and an ability tokeep up with industry trends, notions of law remain traditional and staid. I strucka balance between the two with an approach that employed geometric and colorfulboldness while maintaining understatement. Naturally, the use of type ratherthan images was the best way of affirming her brand. A logo comprised of theLCM abbreviation was crisp, simple, and easy to look at and say aloud.
