Dokkum is a small Frisian city in the Netherlands with approximately 13 000 inhabitants. The project attempts to enhance Dokkum's economic strive with an urban development reform to reveal the city's picturesque panoramas and to the old town and surrounding channels. Also the project introduces a new local music festival event called 'Rockum Dokkum' to further gather wider attention also from the younger audiences

Detailed project focuses on the renovation and improvement of the northern part of the embankment.
Dense low-rising residential housing harbour with boat access and invisible parking spaces with a view over the old town blend in with the excisting architecture.
