Inspiration for an unrestricted underwater snorkeling experience came for the Orca or Killer Whale. Whales in general, have atleast one blowhole on their backs which they use to expel water vapour and gases. A membrane covers the whole as the fish recedes into the water, disallowing water from entering it's body.
For the final form, a balance between the visual representation and the habitual elements of the Orca, was achieved.
A scenario showing how the blow-hole inspired mechanism in the snorkeling pipe allows the user to explore the marine life underwater without his pipe filling up with water.
